Getting started with Attendlr

Attendlr is built for trainers and instructors: you track your students, attendance and payments in one place. Your students don't sign up or log in — you record everything for them, and they're records in your roster, not app users.

This guide walks you through everything you need to get going: your account, a few basic settings, and your first student.

Tip: You don't need to set everything up at once. Add a few students, record attendance for the first session, and figure out the rest as you go.

Create an account with your email or Google account.
Verify your email address using the link we send you.
Follow the onboarding wizard, which walks you through your first class type and student.
Add at least one class type and one location.
Add your first student.
Record attendance for their first session.

Why class type and location first? Because sessions and attendance are built on top of them — set them up first and everything else goes faster.

You can also use Attendlr in a browser with the same account, at app.attendlr.com. The web app is always up to date and requires sign-in — you'll see the same data as on your phone. One difference: you can only buy a subscription in the mobile app; on the web your subscription is read-only.

You can switch between Hungarian, English and German in Settings, any time.
